2dbug collects nothing. Nothing you do in the extension is sent to us, stored on any server, or shared with anyone. Everything happens locally in your browser.
When you click "Capture bug" or "Auto-scan page," 2dbug reads information from the web page you are actively viewing — such as a screenshot, JavaScript console messages, failed network requests, and page metadata (URL, browser, screen size). It formats this into a bug report.

2dbug uses your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) only to remember your own preferences — such as your default AI provider and report settings. This data never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the extension.
When you choose to send a report to an AI service (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot), the extension opens that service in a new browser tab and places your report on your clipboard for you to paste. At that point, your interaction is governed by that service's privacy policy, not this one. 2dbug has no involvement in or visibility into that interaction — it simply opens the tab.
